Update from Homeland Community revival
Hope you are enjoying your Memorial Day weekend. We are certainly enjoying having some extra time off to catch up on some projects around the house and visiting with family and friends.
We just finished a good meeting at the Homeland Community Church in Parkersburg, WV with Pastor Brady & Jennifer Stephens and Pastor Russell & Diane Wooten. We had seekers at the altar nearly every service and heard some wonderful testimonies of what God had been doing in the hearts and lives of those who came. There was a genuine hunger and excitement for the Word of God in each of the services.
Special music was provided by various individuals from other churches. It was quite a blessing to see how many other churches were represented from night to night. Here is a partial listing: Fairlawn Baptist Church; Davis Memorial Wesleyan Church; Pleasantview Baptist Church; Heart of Worship Church; God's Glory Church; Vienna Wesleyan Church; Sand Hill United Methodist Church; Camden Temple; 10th Ave. Church of God; Baptist Temple; First Christian Fellowship Church; Ebenezer Baptist Church; Mineral Holiness Church; and Laurel Cliff Free Methodist Church. Isn't that an amazing list?
Both Pastor Brady and Pastor Wooten are doing a job of providing leadership and care to this congregation even with the demands and challenges of being bi-vocational. We certainly enjoyed the fellowship that we had with them during our time there.
Our next meeting will be at the Bethel CCCU in Piketon, OH with Pastor David Smith. The meeting begins Wednesday, June 2, and will continue through Sunday, June 6.
Thanks for your faithful support of this ministry.
Together for souls,
George & Pattie
