Walnut Hill CCCU in Leesbury, OH
Our last revival was held on May 16-19, at the Walnut Hill CCCU in Leesbury, OH with Pastor Mike & Vikki Hodge. This was our first time to meet them and to be at this church although some of the members had heard us at their district camp at Nipgen, OH in 2006 and 2008. The church is located in a beautiful rural farm community between Washington C.H. and Hillsboro. Since it was only about an hour from Grove City, we chose to stay with our sons and drive back and forth rather than stay in a hotel.
The services were very uplifting with a good response at the altar and several good testimonies and words of praise were given for the Lord. Even a few shouts of praise were heard from time to time. Special music was provided by Jason Cooper from Beech Creek, OH. This young southern gospel recording artist did an excellent job. Needless to say, we felt right at home.
Although there were some visitors from the community that joined us in the services, we don't know which churches they may have represented. However, we were delighted to have friends come all the way from Plain City and Portsmouth to be in service with us. We were also pleasantly surprised to have Rev. Dwayne & Gail Woodard from Washington C.H. to drop by and join us. He is a Wesleyan minister in our home district of Greater Ohio and is currently serving as a hospital chaplain.
We are currently in revival at the Homeland Community Church in Parkersburg, WV. It will conclude tonight with an update to follow a little later.
Thanks for your continued support of this ministry.
Together for souls,
George & Pattie
